This will be my last President's Message to you. Thank you for all your hard work and support this past year. We had an extremely successful year and I couldn't have done it without all of your participation. If you missed my year end report it was outstanding if I do say so myself. We accomplished so much!! The week before Todd Gaither gave us the numbers from the golf tournament. The golf committee had set a new goal of netting $50,000. Even though we fell short a little bit, we made over $5000 more than last year. How exciting is that!!! We can do this for the next tournament May 2026.
I was fortunate to have 3 special guests at my last meeting. Rob Dansereau, our current District Governor, David Carroll, our District Governor Elect, and Gina Crumbliss, our Assistant District Governor. She will continue in that position for one more year.
Congratulations to Steve Germ for receiving the Service Above Self Award and to Alan Johnston who received the Rotarian of the Year Award.
Our speaker for June 25 is Mr. Taylor Newman, President and Director of Operations at Crystal Air. David Elliott will preside over the meeting as I will be in Canada attending the Rotary International Convention along with President Elect, Brad Cansler. July 2 will be the passing of the gavel from me to our new president, Brad. On July 9, we will have our District Governor visit, with David Carroll, at our meeting. He will give us his plans for his upcoming year and how we can be involved. July 16th will be our board meeting.
Thank you again everyone for a very successful and rewarding year. I will see you in July!! Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!! If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
