Dear Rotarians,

BYU Women's Basketball Coach Jeff Judkins was our speaker last year and he had some great stories to tell! It was great to hear from someone who played with and roomed with the great Larry Bird. His comments about how genuine Bird and Magic Johnson's dislike for each other was interesting to say the least. I also thought his take on how the game and the players have changed since he played was very interesting. Thank you to Phil Smartt for introducing Coach Judkins to our club!

This week will hear from the Silverdale Baptist Academy Interact Club! These students always do a great job of informing us of how their group is doing and also of their upcoming trip to Guatemala. Please make it a priority to come and support our next generation of Rotarians!

See you Wednesday!

President Todd

Announcements:

Golf tourney is May 16 - have you gotten your hole sponsor? One of our goals is for each member to secure at least one hole sponsor. Would you do everything you can to either find a company to sponsor a hole or personally sponsor a hole yourself? This is our signature event so let's leverage what we can to make the most of it!

Don't Miss This...

In case you missed it, we are still collecting toiletries. Anytime you stay at a hotel grab those little samples that you don't end up using and bring them to Rotary for us to share with Chattanooga's homeless shelter.

Stay tuned for up-coming service project activities. Look at Justin's emails related to our projects from April 5th and April 12th.

The Golf Tournament will be here before you know it. Get out there and ask for hole sponsors, players, and other sponsorship levels. You could be surprised, just ask and someone might say YES!
