Dear Rotarian,

Thanks to all who came and participated in our celebration of Veterans last week.  It was a very special occasion.  A Club Member told me one of his favorite times every year is when the fight songs for the different branches are played, and the veterans in attendance beam with pride as they stand.  I was also reminded over the weekend that the Air Force Motto is: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do - sound familiar?

As I have mentioned, we will have District Governor Susie Cantrell with us this Wednesday.  I hope you will make every effort to be in attendance as she shares her goals for District  6780.  Following our regular Wednesday meeting there will also be a Board Meeting.

It will be December before we know it and we will have at least two opportunities for service.   On December 11 we will again help out with snacks at the Bess T. Shepherd Winter concert (which will again be at Silverdale Baptist).  Also, while the date has not yet been announced, we will need a few folks to help with our Christmas Food Boxes for Bethel Bible Village.

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
