Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning - Hope you have enjoyed our beautiful weekend.  I went to the driving range with my daughter Saturday afternoon to hit a few golf balls and it reminded me that we are only three months away from our annual golf tournament.  Hope you are working on getting your hole sponsors and golf teams signed up for the event.  I'm sure Tyler and Jeff will have an update and have some more tips for getting folks signed up soon.

Last week's speaker Kristi Wick from UTC's School of Nursing was very interesting as she spoke to us about the needs of the ageing and what we can do to prepare for our loved ones and for ourselves.

This week, we're scheduled to hear from Rev. Audry Jones of the Hamilton County Sheriffs Department / Silverdale Correctional Facility.  The correctional facility at Silverdale is expanding to take on the former county corrections facility that was located downtown.  I'm sure his discussion will be informative.

As mentioned in our last meeting, the Mid-South President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) will be held March 17-19 here in Chattanooga with about 300 Rotary Presidents-Elect coming to town from AL, KY and TN.  We've been asked to help with the seminar by providing volunteers to help direct attendees, take tickets, etc. at the convention center.  Several have already volunteered, but there are still needs at the following times:
- Friday, 3/18 from 10am to 1pm
- Saturday, 3/19 from 7am-10am, 10am - 1pm or 1pm - 4pm
If you are available to help during any of these times please let me know and I'll get you signed up and provide more information.

Don't forget about our membership contest!  It continues through the end of February.  Let's grow more to do more!

I hope to see you Wednesday at our meeting, but if you need to join by Zoom here is the meeting link.  If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you.

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Jim Glass of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
