Hello !,

Last Thursday I hope that all of you set aside a few moments to reflect on the 9/11 tragedy and how we came together as a nation to support each other. In today’s environment of calling “others” names and demonizing those that are different from ourselves, we can choose to remember that all of us are an important part of this collective we know as our home, Earth.

Last week Jim Ward gave a great presentation emphasizing the core values that make Crumbl a successful company. One of the things that we as Rotarians share with Crumbl is a realization that culture determines our success. A culture of caring and action, of fellowship and responsibility to each other, and realizing our role in society and the world.

This coming week we are looking forward to hearing from Jay Greeson – Chattanooga Times Free Press. It is of supreme importance that we have a free press that has the courage to report the actual news, as accurately and fairly as possible even if it isn’t what we want to hear or see. A free press is imperative to support, if we want to maintain a republic based on democratic ideals.

We look forward to seeing everyone this coming Wednesday. Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
