Hello !,

I hope you all enjoyed our Halloween Party last week. Thank you to our master trivia expert Todd Gaither. I think we all learned something we didn't know about Halloween. Congratulations to Alan Johnston for being one of the winners of the costume contest. Alabama never let's him down!!!

This week we will acknowledge all our veterans in the club plus all the guests who are also veterans. Our speaker will be Mr. Herb Thornbury,  a Vietnam Veteran and supporter of the Medal of Honor Museum. He is also a well known local attorney. I'm sure you won't want to miss this opportunity. Those of you who are bringing guests please don't forget to pay for their meals.

As I mentioned at last week's meeting we have surpassed the goal for the Purple Pinkie Donut Day. We are awaiting the district and local results. The goal for this year was 1.5 million dollars and we actually raised 1,581,727. Our 7 year total of giving was 7.5 million. What an accomplishment!!!

Our upcoming speakers in November include Ed Jones from Nutrition World and the Celebration of Life with Gene and Stephen Pike.  Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday. Proud to be a Rotarian!!  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
