Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning!  Last week Mayor Weston Wamp spoke to our club about the new initiatives going on in Hamilton County. The Mayor also highlighted some of the  proposed uses for the McDonald Farm which was recently purchased by Hamilton County.  This week we will host Dr. Daniel Pack from the UTC College of Engineering as our program speaker.

Also in attendance this week will be Katie Streber.  Katie is a recipient of our UTC Scholarship which is funded by our annual golf tournament. Speaking of tournament, please remember to sign up to volunteer during one of the time slots at the golf tournament. You can sign up at the golf website below:

Thanks to everyone for there fundraising efforts so far! We have a few more days for additional asks for hole sponsorships.  $300 goes a long way to improving our community through education.

Our May Board meeting will be held this Wednesday May 10th.

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

See you Wednesday!

Warm regards,

Betsy Gibson
2022-23 Club President
