Hello $FIRST_NAME$!,

I know many of you who follow sports enjoyed hearing from Scott McMahen last week. I think one of the highlights of having “Quake” come and speak is being able to ask questions and hearing his insight into the workings of sports. Always great to hear from someone who is passionate about their profession.

This coming week will be our annual day to honor our veterans, those in our club and in general. We always have a great speaker for our Veterans Day and I am looking forward to the program this Wednesday.
Hearing the report from the Community Service committee on the success of our partnering with Welcome Home was heartening. As Rotarians when we step up and engage to help our fellow humans, whether locally or globally, it reinforces our commitment to the call to action, “Service Above Self”. Over the next few months we are going to be tested in our resolve to make a difference, with all the chaos that seems to grow louder every day.

A reminder that this week we will be asking for you to sign up to be part of the sorting the coats and going as small groups to deliver the coats to the schools we help. Tentatively that will happen on November the 12th. We should have coat shipment confirmation soon, hopefully by the meeting.

We look forward to seeing everyone this coming Wednesday. Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
