Dear Rotarian,

Happy 4th of July!!! My hope is that all of you have a fun and safe holiday with family and friends.

I am so excited to begin serving as your Club President for the Rotary Year of 2023-24. I want to start by thanking and congratulating Betsy Gibson for her service last year. She did a fantastic job leading the Club, and our Club is stronger because of the work she accomplished. I also want to thank the other past presidents of the Club who have graciously volunteered to secure speakers for the upcoming year. We can look forward to a year of informative and dynamic speakers.

A special shout-out to Joe V. Williams = perfect attendance at Rotary from more than 40 years - that is quite the feat!

We will be meeting this Wednesday (July 5), with the primary focus of the meeting being a review of goals and objectives for the new Rotary year.

Finally, please remember that this Saturday (July 8) we have the opportunity to practice our Motto of Service Above Self, with a work day at Bess T. Shepherd School, beginning at 9 a.m. Please bring paint brushes and rollers. Let's have a good crowd there. Please let Steve Germ know if you are coming by contacting him at steve.germ@bldr.com or text him at 423-298-5017,

Please plan to join us this week. If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
