Dear Rotarian,

Happy Monday!  I hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we have had recently!

As mentioned in last week's board meeting summary, there will be no club meeting this week.  However, I am pleased to announce that our club will have it's first club e-meeting on Wednesday, April 15th at noon!  Jim Glass has arranged for Jim Roxlo to join us for an international service update and more details about what is going on with our Positive Peace Workshop in Mexico.  I will send out a link next week for you to join this e-meeting via Zoom or dial in from your telephone.

Take a moment to watch this video from Rotary International President Mark Maloney.  I think you will find that our club is working to keep us well-connected during these times, while also doing our part to diminish the spread of COVID-19.  As mentioned in last week's email, we will also be working to support some local organizations to assist families and children with food needs during this crisis.  In a recent District e-meeting, it was mentioned that our blood banks are in great need of blood donations.  They have a very safe and sanitary process for this, so please call (423)756-0966 or visit their website if you are interested in scheduling a time to give.  If you have additional ideas on how we can serve our community during such a unique time, please let me know.

Don't forget that District 6780 will be hosting a weekly meeting on the District Facebook page on Tuesdays at 3:00.  Please join if you're able.

Stay safe!  I hope you have a wonderful week!

Tyler Spry

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Craig Miller or President Tyler of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
