Hello !,

What another beautiful Spring week filled with well needed rain and days that felt darn near perfect!

What a joy it was to have Rich Mozingo, the President of The Lookouts, and fellow Rotarian, come join us and tell us all about the trials and tribulations of getting Erlanger Park up and running.  Sounds like there are many obstacles yet to ascertain, but with Rich at the helm, things will get done!  He has done such a wonderful job and the Park is beautiful!

This coming Wednesday I am super excited to have Chris Thompson, the President and CEO of Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise come join us.  Both Roseanne and I have already met with Chris and there will be a joint community service project with three other Rotary clubs here in Chattanooga (more info to come!).  Chris is going to inform us on the history of CNE and what needs to happen for the future of our communities.

A few things to keep in mind:
Because we have the Golf Tournament May 20th, this week will be our Board Meeting (5/13). The District 6780 Conference is May 15-16th and will be held in Cleveland, TN at the Museum & Cultural Center at Five Points.  I highly encourage as many members to attend and represent our Club! Monday the 18th we will be cooking breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House.  Wednesday May 20th is our Golf Tournament so DO NOT show up for the meeting!  But please come help out at Bear Trace Golf Course!

Finally, keep Saturday, May 23rd open to help with our next community service project at Welcome Home from 9am - 12pm.  The address is 3131 Quiet Creek Trail, 37406. Please bring cleaning and gardening materials.  I will have a sign up sheet on the tables this Wednesday.

Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
