President's Message

Dear Rotarian,

I trust your week is off to a great start, and that you enjoyed the (somewhat) lower temperatures over the weekend.

What a great message we had this past week from Joel Henderson, a fellow Rotarian.  The work he and his team are doing at Volunteers in Medicine is truly one of "Service above Self", with so many people volunteering in different capacities to provide medical care for those who may not otherwise have any access to healthcare.  Again, thanks for filling up the tables up front first.  This reflects well on our membership.

This week we will have musician Butch Reeves providing us with entertainment - he is basically a one-man band, and it should be a lot of fun.

Lastly, we have a workday at Bess T. Shepherd School this Saturday, July 29.  If you have not signed up but can still make it, let Steve Germ know you are coming (and even if you don't let him know, come on over at some time during the morning and we'll put you to work).

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Betsy Gibson of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
