I need your help!  Due to the rain, the Welcome Home service project has been postponed two weeks now.  Sherry Campbell has arranged for the Eagle Scouts to come help on this coming Saturday, October 17th but I am out of town this weekend.  I need about 4-6 members to step up and help add lights to the chapel and plant some perennials in the Memorial Garden.  Also, I will being the lights over to Sherry and my 8 foot ladder in the next couple days but I won't be around to bring my garden tools. Please respond to this email if you are able to make it next Saturday from 9am to 12pm (it may take less time with the help of the Scouts).

 

We had a very endearing visit this past Wednesday from Jenny Pack and her colleague, Jessica Fosbinder who are with WOW (Women's Oncology Warriors) who have an incredible project of creating The Hospitality House across from Erlanger Hospital. What a great impact that would make to our community!

 

This week we will be hearing from Todd Morgan, the Executive Director of Preserve Chattanooga, a non profit organization that has been around since 1975 and serves our community by maintaining landmarks, recognizing history, and preserving important parts of our town.

 

Next week we have a big treat that I know all members will not want to miss when we have UTC's Basketball Coaches.  Coach Deandra Schirmer (women's) and Coach Dan Earl (men's) will be sure to have a fun program and give us some insight to their season.

 

Couple things to remember:

RLI 1,2,3 is available in Cleveland on the 24th.  I will be there doing some training so it would be great if anyone would like to join me!  Also, the club polo shirts are available, they are $50 and worth every penny!  This is a great way to represent our Club.  See Kari to sign up for one!
