Dear Rotarian,

This is the final week to let us know if your Pastor will be attending our Pastor Appreciation Day meeting, which will be held on April 3.  If you have not already let Dennis Negron know your Pastor is coming, please either let him know this Wednesday or let me know via email by this Friday.  We have  to have a count complete this Friday.

Last week was a very interesting meeting, with Elizabeth Ruffner telling stories about art and other personal property valuation.   This week we get to hear from one of the biggest newsmakers in Chattanooga - Jimmy White of Urban Story Ventures.  It was just announced today that the City's Industrial Revenue Board approved $115 Million in Tax Increment Financing in connection with the redevelopment of The Bend, which is spearheaded by Urban Story Ventures, and I'm sure we'll hear about that on Wednesday.

Finally, please remember to secure teams and hole sponsors for our Golf Tournament, which is scheduled for May 15.  Our President Elect, Roseanne Apyan, has a lot of plans for 2024-25, and our Golf Tournament goes a long way in setting our budget for next year.

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
