Dear Rotarian,

Last Wednesday we were inspired by Cara Hicks' dream of a network to support single moms who want to complete their collegiate degrees, and her work in forming the MOMentum Network.  After her presentation I had two different Rotarians tell me we should see if on an annual basis at least one of our Club sponsored scholarships could be directed towards a woman participating in the MOMentum Network.  We plan on reviewing this request at our next Board Meeting (November 15), so if you have thoughts on this proposal, please let me know.

I am really excited for this week's Veterans Day program.  What a great opportunity we have to say thanks to those who have served our great nation.  We will have the UTC ROTC honor guard presenting our colors at the beginning of the program, Charles Dammann will give a brief presentation on Wreaths Across America (and an opportunity for our Club Members to help with that great program), and our keynote speakers will be Major Ryan Pitts and Captain Jessica Pitts, a husband and wife who served with the United States Air Force.  Please invite a veteran you know to join us this Wednesday.

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
