Dear Rotarian,

We were certainly blessed with another beautiful weekend (which carried with it a reminder that cooler weather is on the way).  I hope you had a chance to enjoy it.

This past Friday Roseanne Apyan and I met with Dr. Sarah Lane at Bess T. Shepherd Elementary.  There are still many needs we can meet at that School, and we will be bringing those to the Club over the next few weeks.  One way to help is at their Fall Festival on the evening of October 26.  They need volunteers to help in their trunk or treat giveaways.  Please consider helping on that evening.

This week we also need for Rotarians to stay after the meeting to sort the Coats for Cool Kidz, and also to volunteer to deliver the Coats to different schools in our area.  Steve Germ will be coordinating this effort, so please let him know of your willingness to take part in this task.

A final area of service I would like for someone to consider is to become an assistant with the audio/visual equipment for our meetings.  This is an area where Dale Rardin has served for years, but we could use another person to learn the system and serve as a back-up for Dale.

I won't be at the meeting this week due to a business conflict, but please be sure and support our Vice President, Jim Henderson, as he steps in to run the meeting this week.
Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
