Dear Rotarian,

Hope you all have had a good week and a great weekend.

We had a fun meeting last week as Darde Long of the Chattanooga Zoo spoke to us about all the recent happenings at the zoo - including the new giraffes. While she wasn't able to bring a giraffe to our meeting, she did bring an endangered turtle species and Charlotte the turtle made her presence known to all! If you weren't able to attend, you missed a good laugh.

This week, David Carroll of WRCB is going to speak with us. David is the longest running news anchorman in Chattanooga history. He is going to speak with us about some Chattanooga history, but not the typical history. You'll need to attend to find out more.

In light of the increase in COVID cases in our area and after some discussion at our last board meeting we have decided to share our meetings on Zoom again. While we would certainly prefer for everyone to attend in person, we realize that some are not comfortable in a group setting so we want to make sure all have the opportunity to participate.

The following is the Zoom meeting link. If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you.

Hope to see you Wednesday.
