Dear Rotarian,

Last week's meeting was a lot of fun as we learned about the business enterprise of Sir Goony's.  We all knew it involved golf, but hearing about those souped-up go-karts made me want to head on over and do some racing.  I had more than one person suggest that we should hold a meeting at Sir Goony's.  Maybe our new president will arrange that for us.

This week we will get to hear about activities at the Georgia battlefield from Dr. Joe Trahan, which I hope will be another great program.  We will also have our last Board meeting of the year, so if you are on the Board please make every attempt to attend the meeting.

As to other upcoming meetings, on June 26 we will look back at our accomplishments from the past year (which includes that fantastic report from our Golf Committee that this year's tournament netted $42,000), and look ahead as we install Roseanne Apyan as our president for Rotary Year 2024-25.   Also, please note that there will be no meeting on Wednesday July 3, so you can begin your Independence Day celebration early with your friends and family.  Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!
