Dear Rotarian,

What a privilege to hear from our District Governor Cindy Gammons last week. We were fortunate to get to hear from her early in the Rotary Year so that we could hear her goals and plans soon enough for us to be a big part of them. I hope you enjoyed her message.

This week we'll be having our Club Assembly meeting for the year. We're going to do things a little differently so you don't want to miss it. If you have already joined a service committee for this year please reach out to the committee chair ahead of the meeting to let them know you plan to be there so they can be looking for you.

If you are unable to join in person, we will continue to offer Zoom as an option through the end of July. Our continued thanks to Dale Rardin for managing our club's audio visual technology. Brad Cansler, Helen Cansler, and Dr. Steve Ball were recognized as first time Paul Harris Fellows by contributing an initial $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation; Joe Fisher was recognized as Paul Harris + 1 by making the initial $1,000 contribution plus an additional $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation; Brigette Thurman was recognized as Paul Harris + 2 by making the initial $1,000 contribution plus an additional $2,000 to the Rotary Foundation; Earl Story and Bobby Parker were recognized as Paul Harris + 3 by making the initial $1,000 contribution plus an additional $3,000 to the Rotary Foundation; and Johnny Rogers was recognized as Paul Harris + 7 by making the initial $1,000 contribution plus an additional $7,000 to the Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Club of Chattanooga Hamilton Place is proud to honor and recognize these eight Rotarians with their outstanding accomplishments.
