Dear Rotarian,

Last week we had the honor to have past RI President, John Germ speak to our club. John addressed many important issues, but one of the most important was related to growing Rotary - 9 letters - ASK ASK ASK! Let's make every effort to invite guests to join our meetings - and once we return to in-person meetings on March 17, guests may attend in person or via Zoom as our meetings will remain a hybrid option - both in person and via Zoom. Our growth results in our ability to further serve our communities both locally and globally.

This week we will hear from Jack McAfee, Airport Planner and unofficially, Airport Historian at our Chattanooga Regional Airport. Jack is a third-generation pilot with strong family ties to aviation so we look forward to hearing the history behind our local airport.

As part of our community service, our club has donated to several local organizations including our non-traditional student scholarships (provided through our golf tournament fundraiser) to UTC and Chattanooga State. Attached are letters of appreciation from UTC, Hope for the Inner City (from our Law Enforcement Event) and Bethel where our club provided food and packed food boxes for the children to take home over the Christmas holidays. Our golf tournament sponsorships make it possible for our club to continue ongoing support across our community.

Please remember to pay your 3rd quarter dues and remember we have a $100 dues reduction that will be applied to our 4th quarter dues.
