Hello !,

I was unavailable last week but the report I got said we had a good turnout and meeting. A thank you to Alan Johnson and his vocational service committee for their work in bringing the event to a successful conclusion.

This coming week I want to encourage ALL of our members to join us live for a presentation from our own world renowned speaking star Ken Hartley!!! He will be talking to us about American Presidents. Should be informative and I look forward to learning new things.

A reminder to bring shoes this week for the Soles4Souls project. Remember any kind of shoes, new or gently used are welcomed.

A thank you to Past President Roseanne Apyan for presenting the need for one of our members to step up and lead the RYLA event. One of the areas of focus for Rotary and our club is encouraging/mentoring young people. Changing a high school student’s life by RYLA leadership training is a reward that will live on for their future. At one of the breakout sessions I attended at Rotary International in Calgary a couple young people shared how RYLA was their first exposure to Rotary and now they are Rotarians! Of course, they were passionate about caring on the tradition.

Look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday, until then! Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
