Hello !,

Last week we heard from Joe Stabb from the Knoxville Rotary Club about his travels to China as a visiting professor and the partnership between UTK and the university in Shenyang. He shared details on the Rotary Club there and how the cultural differences impact club dynamics. Learning about life in one of the northernmost major cities in China was fascinating.

This coming week DO NOT show up at our normal meeting venue!

Roseanne Apyan, Ed Cunningham and Chris Neighbors have arranged for us to tour Silverdale Babtist Academy and hear from the Interact Club on their trip to Central America. Lunch will be provided and this will be a fun offsite event.

If you are coming from Lee Hwy or I-75:  Go West on Bonny Oaks Dr. and turn left into our athletic entrance (Directly across from Starbucks).  Follow the drive until you come to the building called the Commons.  There is a large sign on the front of the building.  The Commons sits right beside our football field.  There will be someone in the parking lot there to help direct Rotarians to a designated marked off parking area.

If you are coming from Hwy 153:  Go East on Bonny Oaks Dr. Turn right into our athletic entrance (Directly across from Starbucks).  Follow the drive until you come to the building called the Commons.  There is a large sign on the front of the building.  The Commons sits right beside our football field.  There will be someone in the parking lot there to help direct Rotarians to a designated marked off parking area.

You can also come up Tyner Rd. and turn onto Kirkman Rd. (Directly across from Bess T. Shepherd).  As you come up Kirkman headed towards Bonny Oaks. turn right onto Robins Roost Trail.  Follow Robins Roost through our back gate up to the stop sign.  At the stop sign turn left and there will be someone in the parking lot there to help direct Rotarians to a designated marked off parking area.

Look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday, until then! Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
