Hello !,

A thank you to Eric Miller for presenting the financial status of our club in an easy-to-understand presentation last week. Nice to have things explained in a graphical way, it aids in quickly grasping the facts. Also, it was great to hear from David DeHaan and Tyler Spry last week about the ideas that the golf committee has put together to make this year’s tournament even more successful.

Before you know it the tournament will be here so contestants start your engines and pour on the energy to contact friends and businesses that are willing and able to support our mission.

Warren Graber, Mike Foos and myself went and delivered half the proceeds from the book drive to the Soddy Community Library. Fascinating to learn that they do so much more than just supply books to the community. I believe there will be some new opportunities for service in collaboration with them.

A quick reminder, Mike Foos will have large boxes at the meeting starting this week to collect shoes for Soles4Soles. Not that we would ever compete with other clubs BUT we want to take home the prize for our members, all because we brought the most gently used shoes to be donated. Any type of shoes is welcomed.

A reminder that we do have board meeting after the meeting this week.

Look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday, until then!  Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
