I hope you have had a chance to review the new layout of our newsletter. It has some eye- catching graphics and thanks to Dale Rardin and Chris Neighbors for implementing the changes.

 

Last week's speaker, Dr. Claudia Williamson presented a fascinating talk about economics. She has 2 little kids at home and writes articles, fosters students and teaches at UTC in the economics department! Impressive! Those are just a few of the things she does.

 

I wanted to remind everyone that all members are expected to pay for lunch for their guests. Potential members only get the 1st week's meal for free. Any additional ones are 17.  Last week we had several repeat guests who did not pay for their lunch. Also,  the sponsoring member can pay but someone has to. You can see how this adds up when you have 5 guests and no one pays. We still have to pay Barry.

 

Thanks to our secretary, Kari,  we are to be congratulated on having 100% attendance for the month of July!! That includes make- ups. What a great way to start the year. Thank you everyone and let's keep it up for July and August.
