Dear Rotarians,

Last week we had our annual Veterans Day Program and heard from Mr. Joe Dana. Joe shared the story of how his parents were taken as POW's during WWII after Japan took control of the Philippines. It was a very sobering account of the hardships, difficulties, and terrible living conditions that so many men and women have suffered through during wartime. It is always truly an honor to recognize and remember our veterans who have sacrificed to fight for and protect the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy on a daily basis.

Tomorrow, we will hold our weekly meeting at the Coca-Cola plant right next door to Metro Tab. The address is: 2111 W Shepherd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421. If you are coming from Hwy 153 it is the first Coke entrance on the left after you pass Metro Tab. It will say visitors entrance. If you are coming from Shallowford Rd. it will be the 2nd Coke entrance on the right. You will follow the road around until you see a sign in front of the Coke plant that says visitors parking. You will enter the building through the glass doors in front. We will have one of our Rotary signs out at the front entrance. After we eat and have our announcements, we will get to hear briefly from Mr. Darren Hodges, the President of Coke, and then we will get to see the plant. It should be a great time!

Finally, we will have a board meeting tomorrow at Coke at 1:00 after our regular weekly meeting. Please feel free to join us if you need a makeup or want to know more about what is going on in our club. Please remember that we will NOT meet next Wednesday, November 21st in observance of Thanksgiving!
