Fellow Rotarians,
I hope everyone is off to a great start to the week! Last week's meeting was great with some valuable information given to us from Dr. Drew Fowler on keeping our hearts healthy. This week our speaker is Morty Lloyd who will have some cool footage of landing airplanes in remote areas. Also remember to bring some cash to get you a square on our super-bowl board. This will be the last week before the game to buy your chance at winning some $. Only one-third of the board is full so don't miss your opportunity to participate or you may feel "deflated".

The Hamilton Place Mall Marketing Dept. had offered me an opportunity for my Interact Club at East Hamilton High to win $1,000 for 100 hours of service at Northgate Mall by greeting customers in their elf outfits.
Each weekend- Friday 11/21 to Sunday, 11/23 between the hours of 11-7 and Friday 11/28-Sunday 11/30 same hours. They are at the main entrance to the Northgate Mall. I am excited about their participation as the club was not functioning much until this year and is going strong under the leadership of the Guidance Counselor, Teresa Molnar, with approximately 30 members currently. I am also very invested in its success.
Here is my challenge to Hamilton Place Rotary Members: For every active Hamilton Place Rotarian that goes by and provides an authentic "Elfie Selfie" from the Selfie display, placed on the Rotary Facebook page, I will personally donate $5 for each one. Please e-mail me your photo entry athorn_donna@hcde.org.
Oh, and any other of club members' personal donations would be greatly appreciated by the students.
