Dear Rotarian,

I hope you're week is off to a great start.  As I mentioned in the meeting last week, the Rotary Purple Pinkie campaign to raise funds for Polio eradication has kicked-off, and you have until October 16 to order donuts from Dunkin, with delivery set to occur on Wednesday, October 25.  Attached to this email is a link to the Order Form, with a second link if you simply want to make a donation, but would be unable to pick up any donuts.  Remember, each donation of $25 gets matched by Rotary International and the Gates Foundation, and becomes a total gift of $187.50.  At $3 per vaccination, that means one box of donuts protects 60 children from Polio.

Please remember to read the bulletin each week to determine when it is your week to be a greeter or to lead the prayer and pledge.  If you do not want to be responsible for one of these tasks, please simply let Chris Neighbors know and your name won't be included in the rotation.

Last week we heard a great program from the SPARC team about helping individuals overcome disabilities and hardships to be able to experience opportunities we take for granted.  This week, our speaker will be Byron Goodman of Miracle Lake, a training and rehab center for those addicted to drugs or alcohol.  I look forward to seeking you at our meeting this week.  Board  Members, there will be a Board Meeting following our regular meeting.
Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
