Dear Rotarian,

Hope you all have had a great week!

Last week's Club Assembly meeting was a great success. Thank you to all the committee chairs for your preparation and willingness to lead our committees. And thank you to all of you who have volunteered to serve in various capacities for our club. I know our community will benefit because of your decision to "Serve to Change Lives."

This week we will hear from Dr. Peter Fuhr of Oak Ridge National Lab. I've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Fuhr on several projects in which EPB has partnered with ORNL and have learned something new from him in each project. I think you will find him both informative and entertaining as he speaks about some of the activity taking place at the lab.

This week we will be meeting in a different room at Metro Tab. Dr. Steve Ball let me know last week that our regular room is being remodeled so we will meet this week in the atrium of the main entrance. The entry is from the large parking lot so be sure to find us there on Wednesday.

If you are unable to join in person, we will continue to offer Zoom as an option. Our continued thanks to Dale Rardin for managing our club's audio visual technology.
