Dear Rotarian,

Good afternoon! My apologies for this being later than usual, but later better than never, I hope. With last week's meeting being "snowed out," I am eager for us to resume our lunch gathering.

I wanted to let you know that some of our leadership team spent some time with Ms Valerie Brown from Bess T Shepherd School as we continue to look into ways that we can partner with them. I am excited about the prospects of us pouring more of our efforts and energy to possibly helping this great school with more of our resources.

This Wednesday is Media Appreciation day and the Public Relations committee has extended invitations to media representatives for us to show our appreciation to them for how they help us get our message out to the community. Tom Griscom is coming to be our program speaker and he is sure to be another good speaker! Griscom served as Director of White House Communications under President Ronald Reagan, was a top aide and adviser to US Senator Howard Baker and was the executive editor and publisher of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. I'm sure he will share some great stories with us!

Don't forget to book your District Conference cruise if you haven't yet and are planning on going!

I'll see you Wednesday!

President Todd
