President's Message

Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning!  Last week we heard from Monty Reeves of Friends House Ministries.  Monty shared his own story, and he shared the work that Friends House Ministries does to support men recovering from addiction while building back their lives.

This week we will be having our first "in meeting" service project of the year. For the 30 minutes that we would normally be listening to a speaker, we will be writing notecards with words of encouragement to the students of Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy.  This is our club's  Empowering Girls project and the notecards will be presented to Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy at the Rotary Zone Conference in Chattanooga at the end of September.

I very much hope you can participate with us on Wednesday!

Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
Note - there is a new meeting link for the Zoom:

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Betsy Gibson of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
