Dear Rotarian,

First of all, congrats to all of our UT friends for that championship last night. That was some fun baseball to watch.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to serve as the President of your Rotary Club for this past year. It has truly been an honor. As I reflect back on the year, I know good was done for our community, and fellowship was enjoyed by our members during our weekly meetings.

A special thank you to all of the past presidents who helped coordinate so many of the weekly meetings. One of the biggest concerns I had before accepting the nomination of President was worrying about scheduling speakers, but I was told our past presidents were willing to take on that task of getting our weekly speakers, and that makes this job so much easier. It was a great year as we had the chance to learn about quantum computing, AI, new business developments in Chattanooga such as the Foundry and the Bend, and old Chattanooga businesses like Double Cola and Sir Goony's.

This week at our meeting we will have more time to reflect on the year, and commendations for Service Above Self and Rotarian of the Year will be awarded to two of our Rotarians. We will also induct Roseanne Apyan as the President for the 2024-25 Rotary year.

We will not meet on July 3, and on July 10 our new District Governor, Rob Dansereau, will address our Club. Please support our Club and our new President by attending that special meeting. Please plan to join us this week. If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
