President's Message

Dear Rotarian,

We are starting early in our club year to get everyone involved in a committee. This week is a closed meeting and a club assembly program. This means Members only, Past President, Beverlee Bartlee will present the specifics. She has asked every committee chair to give a brief 2 min. speech so that you will know what options are available. I have also asked each committee chair to have at least 2 people on every committee. They will have sign up sheets at every table.

The way to become involved in our club is to be on a committee. You meet more people, see how the club functions and get involved in a service project. There are many options and not necessarily big time commitments. Everyone needs to be involved and this can be on more than one committee. This is especially good for new members. If you are not present at the meeting, don't be surprised if someone calls you to sign you up for one. Any committee meeting or service project counts as a makeup for a missed meeting.

I look forward to seeing all of you this coming Wednesday. Remember, there is no I in teamwork!  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
