Don't forget we have our offsite meeting this Wednesday at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank at our usual time of noon. The address is 2009 Curtain Pole Rd. It's just off of Amnicola Hwy. Parking is in the back. Chef Barry will have box lunches available to us. If you haven't signed up and want to attend please let me know. We will not have our regular meeting format except for a few announcements. We will divide up into 3 groups and have a tour of the facilities along with how they function. We are hoping to have some volunteer opportunities there available to us in the future.

 

Thank you to David Elliott our Vice President who presided over last week's meeting for me while I was out of town. Our speaker, Jim Underwood, was very informative about his company, Playcore.

 

Coming up later in April will be our Influential Educator Day on April 23. You won't want to miss this as 5 of our local high schools ask their classes to select their students to pick their most influential teacher and present them to our membership. Each honoree receives a plaque and flowers from us. Thank you to Betsy Gibson and Stephen Pike for making all the arrangements.
