THERE IS A CHANCE I MAY HAVE TO CANCEL WEDNES'DAY'S MEETING DUE TO SNOW. IT WON'T HAPPEN UNTIL TUESDAY SO BE SURE TO WATCH FOR AN UPDATED EMAIL!!!!!

 

I hope you all enjoyed our Valentine's Day program courtesy of our resident magician, Ken Hartley. He is so talented and hopefully we can have him back for another event. 

 

This week we will welcome Judge Gary Starnes from the Hamilton County General Sessions Court. We will also be having our February board meeting as well. Board members please plan to be there with a report on your committee.  The following week February 26 we will hear from the Hamilton County Health Department's Clinical Services section. Their program will be about their new Mobil Health Services units which became operational in October of last year. 

 

We have 2 volunteer opportunities coming up. This Monday the 17th, we will again be making breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House. The time is 7am -7:45 if the group stays true to finish times. They are like a well oiled machine and all are welcome to help out. On March 15 will be the last tree planting opportunity with the Nooga Nights Rotary Club.  They will be at Orchard Knob and Highland Park. Both of these events provide volunteer hours to complete your blue badge requirements and increase our volunteer expectations.  Thank you to all those who have helped out in the past. 

 

There will be a few Member Moments and a Committee Moment as well this week. Come and learn about our new members. We have many of them!!!

 

Our upcoming speakers include a surprise guest at the March 5 meeting and our Pastor Recognition Day will be March 12th. Gabe Fluhrer, the Senior Pastor from the First Presbyterian Church , will be our guest speaker that day. Don't forget to sign up your pastor!! 

 

I'm working on keeping these shorter but I am not succeeding very well.
