Dear Rotarian,

Last Wednesday was a special program. Steve Byrum from Judgement Index was our speaker and left us with some great ideas having to do with leadership utilizing his years of experience and foresight for the future. Don't forget to take your blinders off!

We also had the privilege to induct three new members to our club last week. Rotary is such a great club to join and participate in to give back to our community. I know that Joe, John and Ron will be great members and will also look for ways to dive in to what we are doing!

This week we are setting some time aside to honor and show our appreciation to the clergy that are so meaningful to us. Jason Leonard will be our speaker and will have a very interesting perspective as the pastor of the House ministry at UTC. Dealing with college students on a regular basis certainly is a special calling and I am looking especially to hear from him because both of my sons are college-aged, and one a regular at the House. Thanks to Ed Lawrence and Betsy Gibson and the whole crew for helping in making our Clergy Appreciation Day something that we will enjoy!

Don't forget to send my your volunteer hours that you have participated in throughout this year at Rotary. We need to begin capturing those for year-end goals and awards. Send your information including activity and number of hours to ptoddgaither@gmail.com

See you Wednesday!

President Todd
