Dear Rotarian,

 

Last Wednesday we heard from Mr. Gary Highfield, who told a wonderful story about perseverance, even in the face of adversity.  He told how he had to go to a particular business 4 times in an effort to land a job.  His persistence finally paid off, and he was the company's #1 seller his first year on the job.  
 
Tomorrow, we will be hosting our annual Influential Educator program as we honor teachers from Boyd Buchanan, Collegedale Academy, East Hamilton, Ooltewah, and Silverdale Baptist Academy!  It is always one of my favorite programs, and Rotarians Brigette Thurman and Stephen Pike do an excellent job of putting this together and facilitating the program.  It will be a great time tomorrow!
 
Finally, we will have our monthly board meeting tomorrow at 1:00 immediately following our program.  If you need a makeup or just want to see what's happening, please feel free to join us.
