Hello !,
 
Finally, we got some Fall weather and cooler temps! Fingers crossed it stays for awhile.
 
What a treat for us to hear from Cyndi Leach about her heart touching story of surviving Polio and the work she has done with the Call Center in Dayton and being a Board member of SPARC (Sports, Art, & Recreation of Chattanooga).  It was a perspective that we as Rotarians don't always get to hear about.
 
It was wonderful that we finally got a little more rain, but unfortunately, we had to cancel the service project at Welcome Home this Saturday.  We will have a make up date this coming Saturday on the 10th and I will have fresh sign up sheets at our meeting.  I know some of you who signed up can't make it this coming weekend, so I'm hopeful that we have other members to step up and be there!
 
This week we will hear from Jenny Pack, Executive Director with Women's Oncology Warriors (WOW), a non-profit organization that helps alleviate the financial and logistical burden for women receiving female cancer care.
 
Next week on the 14th we will be visited by Todd Morgan, Executive Director with Preserve Chattanooga, a non-profit organization since 1975 founded to help maintain the places in our community that connect us to our past, our stories, and our memories.
