Dear Rotarian,

We are just one week away!  It is almost golf tournament time, and what we need are golfers.  Please reach out to anyone you know to invite them to the tournament.  Also, encourage the golfers, especially the ones who are playing on someone else's dime, to buy lots of raffle tickets.  That will really help us meet our fundraising goals for the tournament so we can support the work of our Club next year.

As we prepare for the tournament, I just want to say a big thank you to Jim Glass for leading this year's tournament committee, as well as all the folks on that committee who have worked so hard this year.  The best way you can say thanks to them is to have volunteered to help set up and clean up at the tournament.  Many hands truly do make light work!

At our meeting this week we will be hearing from one of our own as Hank Powell will be speaking on Lepidoptery.  No, that is not the latest in laser surgery techniques, but it is the study of butterflies.  Please make every effort to be there and support Hank.

Finally, with the Golf Tournament being on the third Wednesday of this month, the Board Meeting will be pushed back to May 22.  Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424.  Passcode: 685 432

Thanks for being a Rotarian!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
