Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning! What a treat we had last week by getting to know Audry Jones and the important role she has in our Corrections System. She did a great job of explaining her responsibilities as a chaplain within the Silverdale Corrections Center as well as her role in the Kairos Prison Ministry helping the families of incarcerated individuals. Audry truly has a heart for helping individuals in our community and she is making a difference in the lives of so many people!

This week we'll have a presentation from EPB Fiber Optics. A few months ago, one of our members asked me if we could have someone from EPB speak about some of the things going on in the world of fiber optics. Since I'm just an old fashioned electricity guy, I asked a couple of my friends at EPB to speak about several aspects of our communications business. Matt Anderson who is the Manager of our Video Applications and Rich Carpenter, Manager of EPB's Fiber Engineering and Operations will talk about some aspects of EPB's service that are making a difference in our community.

You still have until midnight tonight to tell as many people as you can about Rotary to get a few more points in our membership contest. Please let me know if I need to add a few more points for you. The winner(s) will be announced at this week's meeting. Thank you to all who have invited prospective members to our meetings and have sponsored new members.

I hope to see you Wednesday at our meeting, but if you need to join by Zoom here is the meeting link. If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you.
