Dear Rotarian,

 

Last week we heard from Mr. Matthew Richardson, the BYU Advancement Vice-President.  He shared with us about not only the quality of education that BYU students receive, but also about the community service that their students are involved with and how they encourage students to "give back" after they graduate.  
 
This week we will hear from Mr. Steve Brandon, a fellow Rotarian who travels around the world and photographs different animals in their natural habitat.  Last summer he did a presentation on the great migration in the Serengeti in Africa.  Tomorrow, he will be doing a presentation on the Gorillas of Rwanda.  It should be a great presentation.
 
Finally, our club came through in a big way in the District 6780 Golf Tournament last Friday at Bear Trace.  Not only did we provide volunteers, a photographer from LifeTouch, and a hole sponsorship, but we entered two teams.  Alan Johnston's team finished first in their flight, and our club team won The Governor's Cup!  Way to go!  There will be a trophy presentation in the near future at one of our club meetings.
