Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning. I hope you've had a great weekend and are ready for a great week!

I hope you learned as much as I did at last week's meeting hearing from Dan Challener about the Public Education Foundation of Chattanooga. His organization is truly transforming education for so many students in our area. The labs that they have funded in our public schools will encourage the future scientists and engineers of tomorrow who can make a difference in their lives and in our community. I had no idea that they had done so much to make public education better for students in Hamilton County.

This Wednesday is our annual golf tournament. Remember - no meeting at Metro Tab this week. I'm looking forward to seeing you all at Bear Trace to help set up, play golf and then clean-up afterwards. Thank you to our golf committee for all the work you have put in to make the tournament a success and thank you to all of our sponsors who allow us to support scholarships and fund great activities for our community. Best wishes to all you golfers - hope to see your shots landing safely in the fairways and on the greens!

See you Wednesday,

Jim Glass

2021-22 Club President
