I know I have already mentioned this but just have to reiterate how amazing the results of our 34^th Annual Golf Tournament were. Congrats to our club and a thank you to every Rotarian that had a hand in its success.

This past Saturday Barry Jeffrey led us on a tour of the Chickamauga Battlefield. For those that joined us they could attest that it was a beautiful day, a nice temperature, with good company and Barry told great stories and shared pertinent information. Being a little bit of a history nerd, loved it! He has promised to do a Point Park tour combined with the Medal of Honor Museum.

Several months ago, I asked Linda Moss Mines to come share whatever she chose, all to help us celebrate our country’s 250 Anniversary. So, this coming Wednesday will be the day. Linda is a great story teller and I am looking forward to hearing what she has to say. If you have some one you have been meaning to bring to a Rotary meeting, this will be a good one!

A quick reminder that this coming Sunday will be our ice cream social at Heritage Park @ 2:00pm. The club will be bringing ice cream, water and supplies. Alan Johnson is bringing some fun yard type games. We will need a head count so we can get the appropriate amount of ice cream, cones and water. Bring your own folding chairs. We want this to be a community event to perhaps grab some attention as we will have our tent setup with our banner. Remember this is a bring friends and family!!!

Remembering our motto, Service Above Self. Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
