Rotary Hamilton Place Bulletin - January 27th, 2021 (Jan 27, 2021)

Dear Rotarian,

What an amazing meeting we had last week with our inaugural Law Enforcement Recognition Event! I hope we make this an annual tradition. We received numerous thank you emails from our club members as well as the law enforcement in attendance. Our media release is being included in our District's February newsletter. A special thank you to Betsy and her vocational services committee for organizing this outstanding event. Attached is a picture with our honoree, Lt. Jones serving children with Hope for the Inner City organization which our club recognized and honored in our event.

This week we will hear from the BBB Torch Award recipient, Tim Kelly. Tim received the award as owner of Kelly Subaru, and the award recognizes those who demonstrate strong business ethics as they conduct their daily business. Tim will NOT be addressing his platform as a candidate for mayor.

Many of our Rotarians are sick and have experienced loss within their families. Please continue to keep Kelly Neighbors in your thoughts and prayers as she continues with chemo treatments; Brigette lost her father; Tiffany and her entire family have been sick; and my son-in-law came home yesterday after over 3 weeks in the hospital so please continue to remember him as he continues his recovery. If any others have needs, please let me know.

Please remember that 3rd quarter dues are due now - we are exploring online options; however, at this time, please write a check to PO Box 25255, Chattanooga, 37422. Thank you!! Remember that we will all receive a $100 credit on our 4th quarter dues.

Our club is one of the first clubs is the district (and led the district) to qualify for the William T. Sergeant Polio Eradicator Award. AND we exceeded last year's contributions! Well done! As Charles Dammann stated, "we have a generous club". Thank you for your continued support to eradicate Polio.
