Hello !,

I hope you all had a wonderful week and stayed dry between all those Summer showers!

Last week we heard an eye opening speaker, Inza Hagins-Dyer, who is the Executive Director at Love's Arm, a 20+ year old charity that has been helping women who are trafficking victims or have been sexually exploited here in Chattanooga.  A very important women's advocacy group in our community and I hope we can soon do some sort of Service Project with them or for them.

This week we will be having a Club Assembly in which I will share my goals as President for this year, then we will here the goals of each Board Chair, then we will break into tables for each chair to see who wants to be on any given committee.  I highly advise that as many members attend as possible!  If you are not present to choose which committee you would like to be in, and/or do not inform me which one you have interest in, then I will choose for you.  Lastly, we will have a Club Service Project stuffing 40 backpacks for local impoverished children.  These backpacks will be distributed at East Side Elementary at 10am on Saturday the 25th, and you are all welcome to join me!

On July 29th we will have the honor of having Tom Mundell, The CEO and President of the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Museum Heritage Center.  This will definitely be an incredible speaker and I'm sure we will all be enlightened with amazing history.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and thank you for putting Service Above Self!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
