Dear Rotarian,

Wasn't it good to meet in person last week and see everyone face to face? Thanks to those who helped us with food set up and clean up. We will need volunteers each week to assist so please contact Roseanne if you are willing to help.

It is always a pleasure to host a fellow Rotarian to serve as our featured speaker. Terry Hart, a Rotarian with the Downtown Club, did a wonderful job providing us with an update of the progress being made at our Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. This week, we will hear from Dr. Elizabeth Forrester with the Baylor School. The Baylor School has been at the forefront of Hamilton County's COVID-19 testing efforts. Dr. Forrester has been recognized on the national level and was presented with the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT) Genetics Education Award. This should be a very informative meeting.

Yesterday, March 22, was designated as Rotary's World Water Day - having clean water is something we all likely take for granted. Thankfully many of our contributions help others achieve clean water across their communities.

Please remember to pay your dues and reach out to your golf sponsors in preparation for our May 19 golf tournament. Bobby Parker has been diagnosed with tongue cancer and is undergoing treatment. I have Bobby's permission to share this and he has a goal to complete his treatments in time to serve with us at our golf tournament. Please keep Bobby in your thoughts and prayers.

We will continue to hold hybrid meetings - both in person and via Zoom. Please remember to invite a guest and they are welcome to join either way.

The following is the Zoom meeting link for our club meeting. If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you. Please note that a passcode is now required to access the zoom meeting for security purposes.
