Dear Rotarian,

Hope everyone had the chance to enjoy the amazing weather this past weekend.  What a wonderful opportunity to hear from Sam Parfitt with The True Athletic Project last week as he zoomed in from Scotland to join our meeting.  This week, we will hear from Jay Sizemore on the topic of COVID-19/Infectious Diseases.  We will also have some guests with us to observe our hybrid meeting set up which may benefit other clubs as they explore this model. Greg Maciolek, Jim Roxlo and Erin Kelly are joining us so please give them a strong 'Hamilton Place' club welcome.  We are so thankful to Dale for serving as our AV & Zoom Specialist and making this possible for our club members.

John Downs, Chairman of End Polio Now, sent the following information for me to share with our club:

Here are your club's results for July through March, taken from the Polio Plus Report:
Club Name:     Chattanooga Hamilton Place
Club Members (as of July 1st): 68
Sergeant Polio Eradicator Award Goal: $3,400.00
Club's PolioPlus Goal: $5,000.00
PolioPlus Contribution YTD:  $19,296.65
Prior Year Contribution:  $12,993.95

Congratulations Hamilton Place ! You have already accomplished all of the goals listed above, and have exceeded last years contribution! GREAT JOB!  Thank you for your support of Rotary's #1 Priority-- The Global Eradication of Polio.

Please remember to review the prayer, pledge and greeter assignments that are noted in the bulletin.  These are important roles and if you are unable to serve, please reach out to one of our members to serve in your place.   As a reminder, we are now meeting in person at Metro Tab; however, we continue to offer viewing our Rotary meetings via Zoom.

The following is the Zoom meeting link for our club meeting.  If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you.  Please note that a passcode is now required to access the zoom meeting for security purposes.

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Beverlee Bartley of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
