Hello !,

It was an honor to meet at Silverdale Baptist Academy and be guests of the Interact Club there. They did a great job of running the meeting and presenting their report on last year’s Guatemala trip. It is a great opportunity for privileged young people to have the chance to experience and see how so much of the rest of the world lives. All of us can become jaded and oblivious to how much we take for granted. Turning on the faucet and having decent water to drink an to use in cooking or having access to easily reached sanitation facilities. are luxuries that many around the world do not have access to.

Don Chamberlain will be giving us an update on Purple Pinkie Donut Day. Remember to either bring a check, cash or your credit card to place your donut order this week if you have not done so.

Our speaker this week is McCracken Poston – Author of “Zenith Man”. He will be sharing the story of a local trial and its outcome. Should be very interesting and we will be starting the official meeting much earlier than normal. So, make sure to arrive on time or slightly before noon so you can get your food and we will start with his presentation about 12:15.

Look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday, until then! Have a great week and Be Proud to Be A Rotarian!!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
