President's Message

Dear Rotarian,

We are about to start a new term with a new president.

If you missed last week's meeting, you missed a good one. Our President Stan Hildebrand gave an excellent overview of his year, all the projects and all of his successes. He had some great pictures as well. It's not easy being a president with weekly meetings, writings, and keeping up with everything in the club. Stan introduced his Board of Directors, gave out perfect attendance awards and announced our two major awards.  Congratulations to Dennis Negron for receiving the "Service Above Self" award and to Mike Foos for receiving the Outstanding Rotarian of the Year award. Both men richly deserve these awards and thank you to both of them for all they have done for our club. He then introduced our new incoming President, Roseanne Apyan. The picture they put up on the screen really surprised me!

As a reminder there is no meeting this week July 3rd due to the holiday. We will have my first meeting on July 10th with our District Governor, Rob Dansereau, as our guest speaker. Rob is a great choice for this position and I'm sure he has many things to share about his upcoming year. Our July board meeting will follow as Rob likes to attend these to see what ideas, projects and goals we are setting. I will also introduce my Board of Directors at this time.

Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!!!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Stan Hildebrand of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
