·    Scott Spencer received a thank you card and a Dinner gift certificate from the club for his work on the Fairgrounds Project.

·    Steve Sarantopoulos: Club Survey’s should be submitted this week. Make sure to update the Club Roster. Board retreat at 5pm Friday evening to plan his year.

·    Tim: Demotion June 17 at Condon Park. Joint Board meeting July 31, 5:30pm at Don & Anita’s Houseboat.

·    John Voter thanked Tim and Steve Sarantopoulos for their help with raking at the Fairgrounds. 40 dumpsters were filled.

 

Confessions: Pat Ward bought a new car. His VW is now a dead bug since it came loose from the motorhome while towing and was totaled. $50 fine made him a Bell Ringer. Bob Long bought a new car. His $50 fine was passed to Rich Toothman, making Rich a Bell Ringer. Kyle Daugherty bought as new bike for a $25 fine

 

Program: Cindy Grubs and Dee Hedenland of the GVPD Volunteer organization presented an overview of their role, duties and training. They currently have 13 volunteers, and would like to have more.  Some of their duties are crowd control, traffic control, CPR & First Aid, Court document runs, abandoned vehicles, vacation house checks, animal control, crime scene security, car patrol, etc. They contribute

3,500 man hours annually.  Their presence sometimes serves as a crime deterrent. Extensive background checks are done before acceptance as a volunteer.
