Business Update on Harrah's in Reno

Lee Dillard joined Harrah’s Reno as General Manager in August 2017, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to help guide the property as Reno experiences a true re-birth. 

Lee joined the company in May 2000 as the Assistant Director of Finance at Harrah’s Cherokee and was promoted to VP of Finance in March 2004.  During that time Lee led two casino expansions, improved service scores and helped achieved double digit growth in EBITDA. 

In May of 2005, Lee moved to Northwest Louisiana where he was the VP of Finance for Horseshoe Bossier City and Harrah’s Louisiana Downs.  During his 6 years in Bossier City, Lee held roles with respect to Casino Marketing and Operations for both properties where he gained a true understanding of the Horseshoe brand.  

In 2011, he re-located to Cleveland, OH to be GM of Thistledown and VP of Finance for the opening of Horseshoe Cleveland.  In October 2012, he moved to Tunica, MS to lead finance for the properties there.  While there, he was promoted to AGM in January 2014.  During his time in the Tunica market, the properties maintained the position of first in the market and exceeded goals in both financial and customer service results.  Lee currently serves as Chair of the state of MS Casino Association.

Lee and his wife Cyndi are active in the community with a passion for serving children’s hospitals.  Lee also has two daughters Jordan 22 and Natalie 19.
